Research | Visualisation | Storymaking

This project explored how patterns inform a city of the interaction of usage, which can be used as input for future developments. We created research visualizations to show the street as a storyteller: showing traces of use, giving hints of its functions, and revealing insights about its users: A carpet of gum showing the entrance to public buildings, brown plastic coffee cups marking the territory around office buildings and the sweet smell of energy drink mixed with pink pop-stickle sticks marking the path to schools.

Cities As Generators Of Patterns.
